On the second day, my friend and I went to the National Museum of Korea in the morning, where we were able to briefly experience some of the country's history and culture. We then met my friend from Seoul for lunch before heading over to rent Hanboks together. Once we had picked out the Hanbok skirts and tops we wanted, we made out way to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest of the Five grand Palaces from the Joseon dynasty. The palace was incredible, and significantly larger than I could have imagined.
After the palace, my friend and I went to a neighborhood called Daemyeong-gil, which has a raccoon cafe called Kkukkune. The raccoons were asleep for awhile while we were there, before finally waking up. They were adorable, though they were larger than I had expected. I've seen raccoons before, but never from so close up. I was able to pet one of them, and she was also incredibly soft, which was also unexpected. We got fried chicken for dinner after the cafe, before going back for the night,
