For my final day in Thailand I was able to meet two of the friends I had made while on exchange in Hong Kong. We met at the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which are together in one complex. This was arguably my favorite temple in Bangkok, and I would love to go back again and spend more time enjoying it. One part of it is pictured in the photo here. After exploring it, we got lunch where I had Thai fried rice and a watermelon smoothie, which I absolutely adored. We then took a taxi to Muang Boran, the Ancient City, where we then rented a golf cart to go around and see everything. It's the largest outdoor museum in the world, and consists of castles, temples, palaces, sculptures and more. Some of them ae the originals which were removed from their locations and brought to he site, while others are replicas or models of the original. Everything there was incredible, and it's also a place that I would love to go back to again in the future to spend an entire day at. When it closed we took a taxi back to the city and got dinner at a mall food court, before deciding to get Thai massages. Lastly, I took a motorcycle taxi back to the hotel for the final time.
