On Wednesdays I have one hour in between my courses to get lunch, so I went with two of my friends to the McDonald's near the hotel school, since we wanted to get something quick. As we were finishing our meal we saw the human-like mascot character in the background of the image, the God of Fortune, known as Caishen. He's a popular figure during the New Year's celebrations as well, so we figured there might be a lion dance accompanying him. We were right, and when we went downstairs we were able to briefly watch the lion dance before needing to return to the hotel school again for classes.
