Sunset Peak is the third tallest peak in Hong Kong and the second tallest on the mountain it's on, Lantau. We got a bit lost looking for the entrance to the hike, and wound up taking one of the more difficult paths. We didn't make it to the very top of the mountain, at about 869m (2851ft), but just to the first major viewing point at 425m (1394ft) point. It was steeper than we had anticipated, and the majority of the trail was made of stone rocks in the format of stairs, rather than a dirt trail. It reminded me a little bit of Kokohead, though at least this trail was covered by trees, so it was mostly shady.
