I went with one of my friends to Mongkok, where we decided to go to the Ladies' Market. It's one of the most famous street markets in Hong Kong, located on Tung Choi Street. It had fashion, accessories, and other miscellaneous items. I wound up buying a HK magnet, a snake ring (since my Chinese zodiac is the snake), a Chinese style hairpin, and a HK t-shirt. While I'm still learning how to put my hair up properly myself using the hairpin, I absolutely love how it looks. We were able to walk through the entire market before it closed, although some of the shops had begun packing up a bit beforehand. The prices there were pretty good, and at some of the booths it was even possible to negotiate with the merchants.
