Monster Building

Monster Building

Monster Building

I went with one of my friends out to explore for one of our last days in HK. We started out by going to the HK Zoological and Botanical Gardens. While Ocean Park is more impressive for its variety of animals, the zoo was free and was still quite enjoyable. It primarily consists of monkeys and birds, although there are also otters, meerkats, turtles, and we even saw an animal which appeared to be a white wallaby. We got lunch at a restaurant called Nojo in Lan Kwai Fong (LKF) which had really nice food. Afterwards, we took a tram to the HK Monster Building. The Monster Building is actually 5 buildings connected together, and over 10,000 people live in it. It's famous not only for its immense size, but also because it has been the inspiration for many movies, including a Transformers movie and the Ghost in the Shell remake. Finally, having never taken the purple line on the MTR before, we decided to go to Lohas Park, one of the end stops on the purple line.
